All Visitors on campus must come to the office and sign in during the school day this also includes all classroom volunteers and school helpers.

Please wear the appropriate sticker badge that are provide for you in the school office, while you are on campus. This is for the safety of all the children and staff at Kennedy Elementary. In case of an emergency situation every person on campus must be accounted for.

                       If you need to get something to your child, please stop at the school office first and the office staff will be happy to help you.  Please do not go directly to the classroom and disturb the teacher while they are in session.  Thank you in advance for your understanding.

California SB 277 Law effective January 2016 Immunization Requirements

ALL Students entering 7th grade in August 2017 need to have the Dtap immunization!
Now in effect SB277 the new immunization law which eliminates personal and religious belief exemptions to required California immunizations.  

Students that currently have an exemption on file and will be entering 7th grade in August 2017 will need to immunized before entrance to 7th grade.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE


Student Council is running the Holiday Canned Food Drive December 4th - 21st.

The donated items will be given to the Viola Blythe Foundation.

Canned goods will be collected daily from classrooms.

Holiday Toy Drive

SAVE 

Let's end the abuse right here!

Kennedy Elementary School has joined forces with SAVE and the Newark Police Department this Holiday Season in an attempt to bring toys to children in need.  SAVE is a non-profit organization assisting victims of Domestic Violence.  Donated toys will be provided to the children of Domestic Violence victims.  Please bring your donations to Kennedy School office or NPD, located at 37101 Newark Blvd, Newark 94560.  All donations must be turned in be December 15, 2017.

We would like to say "Thank you" to the Newark Rotary Club!  Kennedy Elementary School applies for a grant and we received $500 to help purchase tables, planters and plants for our courtyard!
